Dudley Cross Country 2024
12 of our Year 5 and 6 children entered Dudley's Cross Country Competition.
It was a sunny February day and we arrived at The Summerhill School to see 4 long fields stretched out in front of us. The Cross Country teams job was to go around each of these fields 3 times to complete the 2.5km long course.
The girls went first and it wasn't long before we spotted them coming up the first hill in our distinctive outfits and odd socks! The boys soon followed and we were very impressed with all of our athletes.
We managed an over all 9th place out of 29 school taking place - an achievement to be proud of.
4 of our children also managed to finish in the top 17 of their event.
Well done to all - hard work and weekly commitment defintely paid off!
