Year 4 United by 2022 - Bring the Challenge
United by 2022 visited Year 4 children this term to discuss and remind the children the Birmingham Commonwealth Games which occurred in 2022.
Children were told about the local events, amenities built for the Games, local Commonwealth stars and what the future holds after the Games.
The children participated in an array of games, being divided into regions and then learning what Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell, Birmingham, Coventry and Solihull contributed to the Games.
The children had a wonderful day learning about what our local region has contributed to sport on the world stage.
